CGAP (the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor) announced this week the launching of a Financial Inclusion Regulation Center, now available at the CGAP.org website.

The Center aims to become the resource center for up-to-date information about laws and regulations relevant to financial inclusion: microfinance, banking, branchless banking and consumer protections.

It features overview materials regarding the financial inclusion regulatory environment, links to governmental bodies and recommended reading, accessible on a country-by-country or topical basis. Plus, the latest scope on new and emerging regulatory actions and trends.
